Prove IT successfully delivered the complete design, implementation, and commissioning of a comprehensive CCTV surveillance and security solution for Archirodon’s construction camp in Abu Dhabi. The system was engineered to enhance site-wide security, increase operational visibility, and protect critical assets across the facility.

Project Overview

This large-scale deployment covered the entire solution lifecycle, including engineering design, equipment supply, installation, configuration, testing, and final commissioning. A total of approximately 140 Hikvision industrial-grade IP cameras were strategically installed to provide full visual monitoring of:

1. Accommodation buildings
2. Dining halls and common facilities
3. Material storage and laydown areas
4. Main entry and access control gates
5. Workshops and vehicle parking zones
6. Administrative and operational offices

The system supports 24/7 monitoring, centralized viewing, remote access, incident playback, and secure event auditing, allowing full operational oversight.

Infrastructure and Technology

The surveillance network was built on a high-performance PoE powered backbone for reliability and scalability. Core infrastructure specifications include:

Execution and Compliance

All work was completed under strict HSE and OSHAD compliance, following Archirodon’s internal site regulations and safety protocols. Installation procedures included cable containment planning, optimized camera positioning, network configuration, device labeling, system fine-tuning, and full as-built documentation to support future expansion and maintenance.

Outcome

The final system provides continuous 24/7 surveillance, rapid incident review capability, and increased operational control. The solution is now a core security layer for Archirodon’s workforce and site infrastructure, operating reliably in demanding construction conditions.
