IT Infrastructure and Smart Network Installation
Project Overview
Prove IT successfully delivered a complete IT infrastructure and smart networking project for a three-storey private villa located in Dubai Hills, providing a fully integrated and high-performance technology setup that ensures stable connectivity, security, and modern home automation readiness. The project included the design, supply, and installation of all essential IT and low-voltage systems across the villa’s three floors, covering structured cabling, CCTV surveillance, Wi-Fi access points, data points, network cabinets, and end-user IT devices. A detailed low-voltage layout was designed to identify all data, voice, and security points in living areas, bedrooms, terraces, service zones, and outdoor spaces.
Infrastructure and Technology
Using CAT6 structured cabling and PoE technology, Prove IT established a robust internal network supporting high-speed data, voice, and camera feeds simultaneously. Systems installed included high-definition IP CCTV cameras linked to a central NVR with remote access, distributed dual-band access points for seamless Wi-Fi coverage, CAT6 cabling terminated and certified with Fluke tools, data and voice outlets for TVs, desktops, printers, and automation devices, and network cabinets equipped with PoE switches and patch panels in a dedicated IT room. End-user devices such as routers and UPS units were also supplied and configured.
Execution and Compliance
The villa’s network was engineered as a fully managed system using VLAN segmentation to isolate security, data, and wireless networks for better performance and cybersecurity. Each floor had independent access points connected to the main cabinet via PoE switches, with all cabling labeled, documented, and integrated into as-built drawings. Compliance with TIA/EIA standards and Dubai Municipality low-voltage guidelines was ensured. Testing and commissioning confirmed strong signal coverage, smooth data transmission, and reliable remote monitoring.
Outcome
The final outcome was a smart-ready IT infrastructure capable of supporting current and future digital systems, providing maximum stability, efficiency, and control under one unified network.
